La CD Sailing è nata principalmente con lo scopo di promuovere la cultura della vela in oceano.
E' la voglia irrefrenabile di avventura che spinge i nostri atleti a cercare nuovi orizzonti, sfide sempre più ambiziose, estreme.

Il mare è un ambiente ostile, rappresenta però l'environment naturale in cui poter vivere l'avventura. L'orizzonte diventa sempre più profondo, e andando ancora avanti si vuole vedere cosa c'è oltre, e ci si spinge sempre più in là ...
Questo sentimento ha alimentato gli atleti CD Sailing, portandoli oggi, dopo anni di navigazioni estive ed invernali in acque italiane, regate nazionali e ben 4 Viaggi ai Carabi, da Pescara a Martinica con le nostre barche, in solitario e in equipaggio, a scegliere il confronto nelle grandi regate oceaniche internazionali. Un grande team quello della CD Sailing, persone sempre pronte ad accettare le sfide.

Ora, la nuova sfida della classe "Class 40" con il Pogo 40S di proprietà della CD Sailing, lo stesso Pogo 40S del Cantiere Bretone Structures che si è piazzato 5° all'Artemis Transat 2008 (malgrado un abbordo con una balena), 1º alla Quebec-St.Malò 2008, 2º alla Brittany Ferries 2008.

This passion and state of mind has nourished CD Sailing's athletes over the past years, bringing each one of them, after weeks of summer and winter sailing in Italian waters, and 4 great journeys Pescara-Caribbean (Martinique), on CD Sailing boats, in team and single-handed, to choose today a more ambitious challenge in the big ocean races all over the world. A great team, CD Sailing can say that loud, men and women always ready to go, no matter what, no matter where.

Now, a new challenge : the "Class 40" ocean racing with CD Sailing's prototype "Pogo 40S", the same sailing boat of the shipyard Structures - France that won the 5th position in the Artemis Transat 2008 (in spite of the boarding with a whale), 1st position at the Quebec-St.Malo 2008, 2nd at the 1000 milles Brittany Ferries 2008.
